About this listen

When Aimee Tompkins loaded up her old catering van and pulled into Manhattan, she had her sights set on becoming one of the best (and most lucrative) caterers to ever serve crudités and creampuffs in the Big Apple. But after a year of leaving fliers all over town, she's not only running out of money, she's running low on hope. So when she lands a gig at a big architecture firm, Aimee's certain her luck is about to change.

Noel Fitzwilliam is pitching the most important project of his life - the type of project architects dream of. Everything has to go right, so when he finds the new caterer naked in his office bathroom right before the meeting, he's torn between being thrilled and being extremely irritated. He doesn't have time for romance, no matter how incredible she looks without her clothes on.

A mix-up means Aimee is accidentally given his cell number instead of his assistant's. So when she starts texting Noel about how much she hates him, he decides to have a little fun with her. The last thing he expects is for her to turn his world upside-down. But that's exactly what happens as the pair start sharing their deepest secrets and their greatest fears, and Noel discovers he can share so much more via text than he can in person. But what will happen when she finds out who he really is?

This one was such a pleasant surprise in the way this Rom com has melted me and made me sigh while making me laugh and smile throughout the book.

I felt the narrators have amazingly captured the fun angles and antics of all the characters and it was such a delight to listen to this on audiobook.

First off, both Aimee and Noel as our leads have my heart. Both have their own quirks but what I admire about them the most is their drive to succeed.

Even though Aimee is struggling to get a decent catering job, when she finally does get this amazing gig with an architecture firm, she's ecstatic about it.

While on the other hand, Workaholic Noel has the most important presentation for his firm and he needs to make it happen.

What ensues on the first day itself when these two meet, madness that's what and I was thoroughly enjoying every moment of it.
Not only does Aimee find herself stark in her birthday suit in the arms of her supposedly new boss but also the things that go wrong, were so crazy.

But she's a talented caterer and her food is the best. In a Twist of fate, when she receives an envelope to text the assistant on Tuesday, she has no idea that she is in fact texting the boss himself.

I was having so much fun seeing the grumpy and cold Noel, acting like his brother Byron just so he can keep on talking with Aimee.

I was sighing and really feeling jealous of Aimee for the way Noel had become such a goner for her and every little thing that he did for her, had my heart. Especially when she had absolutely no idea that the very man she was hating on was in fact falling for her day by day.

There are so many scenes that have my heart in this book. That one where Noel is not ready to accept what Aimee means to him and the way Byron and Aimee plot out things to make him jealous... Ahhh... I was laughing throughout that scene and it was so crazy good.

This one was definitely a laugh riot that I just couldn't have enough of. Even Aimee's bestie was such a great one and Byron is the male bestie everyone wishes for.
The way he steers his brother Noel towards what he wants and when Noel pretends like he doesn't. The way he teases and irks his brother had me giggling.

Ahhh... The chemistry is so heart melting sweet and I was sighing so many times.
I love that man, Noel for the way he's crazy about Aimee. Ahhh.. They were so amazing together.

This book has definitely made me an instant fan of Ms. Dineen and Ms. Summers' writing and I'm so looking forward to diving into this entire series and then making my way through both of their books. Absolutely loved loved this one. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
