A must read

The book is a thought-provoking and meticulously researched book that delves deep into the complex socio-political dynamics that led to the partition of India in 1947. It presents a multidimensional analysis of the Hindu-Muslim communal tensions, the role of British colonial rule, and the motives of various political entities.

One of the book's strengths is Ambedkar's unbiased approach. He neither glorifies nor vilifies any group; instead, he presents a clear-eyed view of each side's fears, ambitions, and flaws. This balanced approach allows readers to see the complexities of the Hindu-Muslim relationship and understand the psychological and social factors that fueled communal discord.

It's essential reading for anyone interested in history, politics, and the challenges of nation-building.

Narration speed is all over the place

It would help if the narrator could maintain a steady speed. important parts of a sentence are rushed through and immaterial parts of the same sentence are read slowly and with emphasis. Very difficult to follow.
