About this listen
Brought to you by Puffin.
The second audiobook in this number one, bestselling series from the creator of Percy Jackson.
Thor's hammer is missing again.
The thunder god has a habit of misplacing his weapon - which happens to be the mightiest force in the Nine Worlds. But this time the hammer isn't just lost, it has fallen into enemy hands.
Magnus Chase and his friends must find it, fast. If they don't, the mortal worlds will be defenceless against an onslaught of giants, and the Nine Worlds will burn. But the only person who can help them is the gods' worst enemy, Loki - and the price he wants is very high.

Again, Amazing book.
I absolutely love this series you should really buy. But there is one flaw. The narrator. He speaks to fast for me to understand. It really ruins the experience. So, if you get this book, which you should, listen on 0.75 speed. Otherwise another perfect story by Rick Riordan.

average book made worse by the voice actor trying to finish it in record time.
I usually like Rick Riordan's books but the entire Magnus chase series felt clunky and forced. It uses the same formula as the Percy Jackson series but set in the Norse gods universe.I felt the use talking swords and useless gods didn't fit well in the story, for example Thor was able to manage to keep the giants away from Midgard for millennia but starts becoming a bumbling idiot the year Magnus comes in? To make it worse the voice actor reads the book like he's in a hurry to go elsewhere and wasn't enjoyable to listen to. I decided to stop buying this series and read the 3rd part by borrowing it from my library for the sake of completion.
